I saw somewhere that it's possible to preview the textures with Maya.. Anyone knows how to do that? And will it work if I use 3DS Max instead?
I think I saw SuperCoins doing that too.. if you can help be it'd be great :]

Yes you can. You need the .fbx models for it and only a few have been properly ported. Sabretooth exported them. It's easy to apply the textures once you've done it. And yes, you can view them in 3DS max, i know you can change the texture but i can't remember how.

I read a couple of pages of Sabretooth's thread, and I downloaded a pikachu.fbx file and now I can see Pikachu in 3DS Max. I have no idea how to change the textures, but it's getting better :]

I don't know how to use 3DS max but i can use Maya. And thats where i got the .fbx models from. There are more there.

It could. The only problem is that only about 7 models are availible.
Also i hope your greatful Register. I spent like 2 hours teaching you how to do it...
