The formatting thing was a joke (and a test to see if he can get a dialog to display) --- since the testers are usually in direct contact with him when doing so.

Sorry if I'm acting rash. It's been over a week since I lost my HBC, and I haven't been getting any info about the progress with the next HBC installer method.

It's real because I've tested it. --- Though that's not saying it fully works as intended. Current version is incompatible with 4.0. Current "testing version" displays a message dialog "Do you wish to format your NAND?" before crashing. Anyway, sometimes I wonder if Team Twiizers is even trying to update the Twilight Hack. I'm pretty sure that it would take a lot of hard work and discipline to be able to accomplish a task like that. The Twilight Hack is completely destroyed by 4.0. There's no use updating it; it's dead.

In fact, I actually looked at the past updates and saw that when System Menu 3.4 was released, many people assumed that the Twilight Hack was dead. However, it came back a week later, designed specifically for 3.4.
By the way, someone from Smashboards.com also assumed that the Twilight Hack is dead for good.

People believe it runs on an all new IOS. Like the Wiishop channel, it runs on IOS61 now, not 51 anymore. IOS16 was also replaced so pirates wouldn't install .wads anymore, and the trucha bug was completely destroyed as well.

Who knows, maybe Team Twiizers will find a way through IOS16. But then again, we'll never really know for sure until we get a news update, which hasn't happened since the March 25 update.

That's the only thing that can downgrade you. Nintendo made a mistake by replacing IOS254 (Or was it 245) again. If it wasn't installed before the update, you're screwed.

When a new HBC installer method does get released for System Menu 4.0, I won't be recklessly updating my Wii any longer. Don't want to make the same mistake twice.
