This updater updates your Wii to 4.0, but modifies it to still have the Trucha bug, and other things the update blocks. Some things still don't work like CIOSCorp. Everything else like Gecko OS/Ocarina, Backup Launchers, .wads works.

The HomeBrew channel will work if you install it before the update, But the Twilight hack was ruined by it.

I actually had the HBC when I updated to System Menu 4.0, but my curiosity with the SD Card Menu caused me to lose it.
I knew from here on out that the next time I install the HBC (once a new installation method is made), keep it saved on the Wii System Memory.

Can you put the HBC on the SD? Even if you do, you'll most likely not be able to use it.

I was obsessed with the fact that you can use SDHC cards with System Menu 4.0. Although, it's a shame that Gecko OS doesn't work with SDHC cards yet.
