Howdy, some friends of mine and I are try to replace Pit's Final Smash image with a picture of another friend of ours. It's going to be a surprise so we can't really go telling anyone about it. Hopefully he didn't sign up here recently and see this. Anyway...
We started off by using the Obama final smash since we were just planning on replacing one image with another. Unfortunately our photoshopping skills are less than professional and when one of us tried messing with it we ended up with a picture of our friend in the silhouette of the Obama final smash in Paint.net.
Could someone who knows what they're doing maybe do us a most awesome favor and help us get this picture working?
Thanks a ton in advance!

Last I've heard paint.net doesn't work with texture hacking. Use GIMP, or Photoshop.

Alrighty, I went ahead and tried GIMP and it seems to be going swimmingly.
I just had one more quick question. When I save the file it asks about RLE compression origin being bottom left or top left. Does that matter at all?
Thanks for all the help, folks!

Doesn't matter. --- It does make the image file size smaller than its photoshop counterpart... but I don't believe it does anything ASH wise.

---Image must be saved as indexed How do I know if I'm saving it as indexed? I don't see any option like that when saving it with GIMP.

Image>Mode>Indexed
If it's not indexed, the title bar at the top will say "RGB." If it is, it'll say "Indexed."
