After saving an indexed file, I re-opened it up in GIMP to discover it has RGB in the title bar at the top and the transparency is now gone and it's got a black background. When I look at the file info of the image itself it says the dimensions are 0x0 and it won't open in other programs like the Obama and my pre-indexed TGA files.
Did I do something wrong? I'm a complete newbie to this so even the simplest thing may have been overlooked.
I thank you again for your help and patience!
Edit: Got it working with the help of a friend who has Photoshop. For whatever reason GIMP refused to actually save the TGA as indexed even though I would convert it to that.
