I searched and found the location on where to put the files on the SD loader thread and a tutorial with CUPASH(don't have photohsop), so I have the following files on the following location on my SD card:
Cursed Meta Knight:
B:\private\Wii\App\RSBE\pf\menu\common\char_bust_tex\InfFace211
B:\private\Wii\App\RSBE\pf\info\portrite\InfFace211
B:\private\Wii\App\RSBE\pf\system\common5.pac
Problem is the character portraits won't show, what am I doing wrong?

Well, I've never messed with the battle portraits (the ones made from the _small images / the InfFace files) but...
I'm pretty sure you are only supposed to have MenSelchrFaceB### files in the "char_bust_tex" folder.
Other than that, are you using the latest code? (1.3 File Replacement with 1.1 SD Loader)?

...that's sad.
Either they fail or they did this on purpose so we'd have a harder time finding it.
...not quite sure.

From this Thread: "The .tga is not the final format of the battle portrait it's merely the source you need to create it. But as far as I've heard the SD loader doesn't load the stock icons anyway. "
Both files are .TGA format, am I out of luck? you said in the other thread:
" You would still need to run battle portraits through CUPASH. " I downloaded # ntcompress.exe* and # TexConv.exe*, do I need WiiScrubber(I take it it the readme was before SDloader?) and buy Photoshop 6.0?
And yes I am using File Replacement v1.3: [Phantom Wings] Dynamic SD Loader: v1.1 [Phantom Wings] SD Files: and Disable Custom Stages v1.1: [Phantom Wings]
Thanks in Advanced
PS: I have Vista 64bit

CUPASH works perfectly fine with GIMP in Vista (or, at least my modified version does). You need WiiScrubber (and the ISO) only if you do not have the InfFace brres files corresponding to the ones you are attempting to edit. (Unless someone would be kind enough to pack those... but that's a hell of a lot of files, and IMO, not worth the effort) The original Brawl brres files would be placed in "neededfiles" before running Step1 again. And being that I'm too lazy to type it up... just watch this if you want to edit the character select screen images properly. (And as I said, does not include in battle portraits... because... those suck )

Of course, make sure that InfFace211 has the ".brres" file extension.
Anyway, you should have a file called MenSelchrFaceB###.brres inside the char_bust_tex folder. There a multiple files of those that are used for each character you've made a texture for.
Lastly, check your codes. If you want to see your custom portraits on the character select screen, use the File Replacement v1.1 code. For some unknown reason, File Replacement v1.3 only displays your custom portraits on the results screen.

Thanks, is there a way to create an .ISO for brawl myself so Iso can get the files or do I have to download the .Iso?
