Invalid file!??!?

Gah. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong, hence I'm on here.

I saved the file as a targa file, 32 bit, and if it says +2 I index the colors, yet it still says the colors aren't indexed and for the rest it says they're all invalid, and unrecognizable file types. Wha? It's a targa file.. Q_Q Why on earth dont you think it's valid?

Anyway, someone please work with me to figure out why it's rejecting me.

EDIT: Idk my computer calls it an Adobe Photoshop Targa file instead of just a Targa file, if that means anything.

My only suggestion... redownload ASH and try again. Newest version I believe is 2.2

If that doesn't work... send me a couple of your tga files, I'd like to examine them.

With your file... only error I'm getting is that it is lacking an alpha layer.

Never used photoshop so... copying this from some website.

To create an alpha channel using current options:

1. Click the New Channel button New Channel button at the bottom of the Channels palette. The new channel is named according to the sequence in which it was created.
2. Use a painting or editing tool to paint in the image. Paint with black to add to the channel; paint with white to remove from the channel; paint with a lower opacity or a color to add to the channel with lower opacities.

Wait, I'm only supposed to edit this file on the alpha channel!?

Or am I supposed to make everything white so I can just have it in there... IDK Q_Q

EDIT: Adding an alpha channel with the entire thing white, makes everything red tinted .__.

There's also this odd option when I save called: "Compress RLE"
Maybe I should choose that?

I made sure all the files had alpha channels and now the application shuts off immedately after Lucas's stick is done texturing, in which it questions every part. x__X

It makes this newpac.tmp file but I dont see how I can use that. Ugh this is so stupid.

...I am using that too, but idk I'll download it again. I doubt that's the problem though.

I'll try that compress RLE thing and if that doesn't work I'm going to request someone make these two things for me:

1.) Apple fan Lucas. (Dark brown hair, black shirt with rainbow apple symbol, green pants, green eyes)

2.) Plaid Toon Link. (Red sword, orange scabbard, red plaid as shirt and hat, etc. You know plaid everything but pants and boots)

Can't believe it's not working for me. Anyone with any other ideas as to why it isn't working, TELL ME NAO!!

What exactly is the error message you're getting?
