Well I think this is a great idea. Sound like ur up to the task. This would be another step towards streamlining this whole process. remember back when everyone had to hex their hacks manually?

Not to be a downer, because I really like this idea... But would your employers care (assuming that you're in the USA) that this project streamlines and organizes an illegal operation?

Lol the way you say illegal operation makes us sound really badass, I'm pretty sure texture hacking isnt technically illegal, at least thats what I thought, I could be wrong but I don't think so

Texture Hacking isn't illegal.
As long as we don't distribute portions of the Nintendo SDK, creating custom textures for games isn't illegal.
I guess technically, textures based on Nintendo textures like recolors break copyright law, but to be honest, Nintendo doesn't care. We aren't making a remake of a game, or making anything that competes with any of their products.
Also, my employers would care more about the technologies used and the skill involved, not what the actual site does. As long as I can explain the complexities involved in the creation and maintenance of a site, it will be a good thing to put on my resume.

It is illegal. Buying the game doesn't give us the right to modify its code. (Also, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to make textures without obtaining parts of the Rev SDK.) But yeah, Nintendo doesn't care. I've never believed they do.
I was just asking to make sure you knew what you were getting into. If you're confident that it'll be all right, then do what you want. I'll appreciate it, for sure.
