Yes, I'm using an NTSC version of Brawl, Gecko OS does load the codes and the game starts, and I'm using the latest version of the code. Edit: If it helps at all, my CSP does appear in the victory screen, but only then.

i am having the same problem as you but now i get this when i run step2 i get this tcsetpalettes :file newfiles\mario1_big.tga has no palette press enter to quit
it does this for mario and donkey kong (it didn't use to do this) and when i go into newfiles i only have 2 folders no system folder.

Ok I've got a weird problem, when I try to run step1, it says it could not find the specified file. it mentions a *.out, 002.pac, and *.tmp
I already putted the common5_en.pac on the needed files and the other two .exe files.
how can I fix this?

Hi, when I use Gimp-Ash for a palette, I just get a number between 248-255 and 0, what does that mean? Well, my modified ASH tends to fail under a few conditions (and I have no idea how to fix it --- need el refugio's help): small indexed images (eyes), Wario, and Ganondorf Not sure what numbers you are talking about though, mind taking a screenshot? I've heard someone else with the problem and it seemed to be a faulty download. Redownload and retry... should work. Also, maybe a faulty common5; I've heard of some issues with enigma's packed in one (aside from it including a couple of my images by accident). You probably have to go into Photoshop (I'm assuming you're using that) and go to Mode>Indexed Color and then change it to 71. EDIT: Alright!!! I got it to work! For some reason I had to change the cupash_step2 to the old one.

ok nvm i got it to work but what about the default portraits i keeps loadingup the template ones where a couple of the original ones are changed.

nope still the same error, redowloaded everything, included the common5_eng
anyways, all I want is to create just one image.
you see I downloaded a "pack" of the textures and stages for the SD card code that had even the chars portraits so I wanted to chanfge a texture and portrait, I managed to get the _big.tga and eveything I just want to get the .brres to insert it in the SD card and ready to go. I have the .tgas of all the CSP of the textures that I want.
isnt there a way I can just get the . brres and put them in the SD card
