Also, Stoney, thank you. As an admin, I can't really say those things so harshly myself, but I can agree with them. Man, you poor dude. Well hey, if you ever need a guy to verbally smack someone upside the head in the future, you know who to call. But seriously, I'm sorry if I came off as too harsh or abrasive to anyone. I'm just really, really sick of people whining about/arguing over Brawl's roster. I've seen it in every Brawl community I've ever visited and I was really hoping not to see it here, since this forum is focused around actively changing Brawl to meet our desires through software hacks. The people who just absolutely cannot be satisfied unless they have a specific character in the game can put that character in the game themselves using tools in this forum. Nobody should be arguing about whether (for example) Blaziken is in Brawl when there's a Blaziken texture for Lucario available to download just a couple boards over from here.

how about this. they make ssb4, with a channel that holds downloadable content for the game.(characters, items, stages, ect.) that way, people can get just about whatever they want, and sakurai doesn't need to make ssb5. he only needs to add stuff to the channel every once in a while. that will make even more money if you would need wii points to download them I completely agree, 100%. The only problem with that idea is the fact that an almost-endless amount of Brawl characters flooding a "Brawl Shop Channel" could be very overwhelming at some point. Sakurai doesn't seem to care about North America at all: perhaps whomever's in charge of the next game will give us a chance to sugest what we want?

The wii simply couldn't do it. There was a pretty good article about it, I can't remember it all but once a game launches everything is read from the disc and due to the wii's hardware it's not possible to access anything on its internal harddrive. Oh and about Sakurai not making another SSB, personally I never believed him when he said that. This series produces so much money, he would be a fool to deny the offer to make another one. He said something along those lines in an interview last year. (Keep in mind that it could have been translated out of context but it was posted on an official nintendo website.) "It's interesting, because after every Smash Bros. game I've made, I've always felt at that time that I've left nothing out. However, I also understand that there are millions of fans out there who love the series so if Mr Iwata came to me in a few years time and asked me to make another one, I'd have to give it some serious thought." "There are 39 characters in the game this time around and just adding a few more wouldn't be enough to justify another game in my opinion; I'd have to draw a line in the sand and have a new approach to the game to make it worthwhile. As long as the fans enjoy it though, that's what matters and in the distant future, I guess that might be something I'll have to consider." This obviously doesn't mean that he'll make another one for sure. But even if he denied, Nintendo is a company and companies love money more than anything. Smash Brothers sells simple because of its name even if they had someone else make a crappy new smash brothers millions would buy it.

It probably connects to Nintendo and they can probably ban our consoles. FE6 just sucked, but Roy is a good character in Melee. Toon Link, well, no difference then Young Link, but I like the OoT reference. I'm happy with Kirby, period. Lucas, well, hell he's a good character. Maybe he's encouraging roms Ike is awesome imo, but I hate how people complain he's so overpowered. HE'S AS SLOW AS A DAMN ROCK. IF YOU GET OWNED BY ROCKS, YOU FAIL AT LIFE. Diddy Kong is :/ Dr. Mario, Pichu, Falco, and Ganondorf were what Vyse said. But Ganondorf HAS to stay, I mean we have Dx3 and Bowser. The enemies of Mario and Kirby are in it. Why not Link? We don't need a huge amount of pokemon, imo.

Always makes me laugh how people think Ike is overpowered just because he brought thousands of scrubs to smash brothers and now everybody and their grandma plays him.
Ever heard of Metaknight? He is the incarnation of broken.

Jigglypuff is pretty much a mere filler now. So what if it's one of the original 12, Mewtwo deserved the 4th Pokemon slot WAY more than that puffball.
Sakurai must've been nuts to want to use a less popular Pokemon over a more popular one.
