ok I know the "add transparency" part... but thats the question I have, I don't have enabled the option Add Alpha Channel (from the original background), I think the Alpha Channel is already added so we just have to erase the parts we don't want?? that's it? I'm a mess...

ya thats it, if the option to add the layer is greyed out then u already hav one on, just erase or delete the parts you want to be transparent, you are using GIMP right???

ya thats it, if the option to add the layer is greyed out then u already hav one on, just erase or delete the parts you want to be transparent, you are using GIMP right??? Pretty much. As long as you can see the checkerboard pattern underneath (opposed to whatever background color you are currently using).
