[glow=red,2,300]This is how it all started[/glow] i started out with ver 4.0U. i installed 3.0E accidently, then updated to 4.0E then installed 3.2U. i tried to change the settings but it wont let me and the system menu is 3.2U and the region is in USA. the message in the anyregion changer says that the setting mismatch when the region and system menu match. but im not entirely sure if they match so i come to you people because i thought you would know if they match. also it says [glow=yellow,2,300]UNEXPECTED ERROR: SYSCONFIG Value -1017[/glow] the flicker is still there and i want it gone. someone came up a solution to this but it is just plain not working. this is how it looks like www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTYVt7Wnktk...feature=channel

I know I said it before... but I suggest you check out gbatemp... they'll be much more helpful than anyone here with this sort of issue. gbatemp.net/index.php?showforum=1081017... all I know is that error occurs when some people try installing wads on 4.0... but I don't know the real reason behind it. I'm almost tempted to say... try upgrading your wii via a "more up to date" game than your current system menu version --- but that might result in a brick (semi-brick, duplicated channels on the low end... full brick on the high end) Another alternative would be a CIOScorp install... (replacing all IOSs, but that leans more heavily to the full brick scenario if anything does go wrong) They'll give you a hard time... but maybe someone on gbatemp could tell you how to fully fix it. That or burried in one of the many stickied guides.

Downgrading to other firmwares out of your region lead to a semi-brick. That's what I think is giving you that error.
