I think if you have the right app on your SD card, you can manually enter some other screen, and manually get into the homebrew channel. Using that, you can get to whatever firmware you need.

I think the official home brew website has a Brick blocker/fixer
Burn it to a disc and fix your wii not sure if i remember correctly though but it wouldn't hurt to check
