I suck at organizing this stuff, so bear with me, k?
The List O' Updates:
It slices! It dices! It tells you crap you don't care about!
April 30, 2009: MegaMan ZX, MegaMan Zero, Angel Island Zone
May 20, 2009: The Chrono Trigger MegaUpdate
This was my favorite SNES RPG. It wins kudos for being the first time-travel story that was simple and interesting to me rather than being overly complicated, contrived, and stupid. Its sequel was the exact opposite, of course, but I'd rather not think about Cross if I can help it. It hurts my brainmeats.
So yeah, Chrono Trigger. It seems a lot of people here like it and made textures for it. I'm just gonna apologize right now if I happen to be stepping on anybody's toes with this update. There are far too many threads to keep up with these days and I really don't know if someone else has already released their own textures for these characters yet.
Please note that everything here is Version 1.0 and will be revised in the future to fix various errors and bugs that I'm aware of but didn't have time to fix.
Also note that all files are named to be compatible with Chaemelion's Texture Manager program, which you can download for free here.
Anyway, on with the show. I've got 10 characters and one stage to show you all, so time is of the essence.

Time Warp
Welcome to Chrono Trigger's Final Destination. Literally. This stage is modeled after the last battlefield of the game, where you meet and defeat the final boss.
In the game, this area is a distortion in time, where the party can see into all of the game's time periods at once. This allowed me to use stuff from all over the game and give every era equal attention.
The platform was cobbled together from pieces of the Black Omen. It actually looks rather pretty in action.
In the stage's first area, Lavoids fly past the platform followed by meteorites that contain random sprites from the game's maps. Then Lavos's pocket dimension appears, followed by the Time Warp itself.
Other stuff is also visible in the distance.
Oh hey, I remember this scene. The Time Freeze...
OH SHIIIIIIIIIIII--
Both versions of the game's planet also make an appearance -- the colorful one you get in the game's good ending, and the lifeless gray one where the Future Refused to Change.
The second area is probably familiar to anyone who fought Chrono Trigger's final boss.
BRRRRRAAAAAAAHGLBLAMHGLSNAWREKRAAAWWWWWWEK!
I had to create the lines myself since there were no decent sprite rips of the background used in the game. Unfortunately I couldn't re-create the gradients in the stage, so the lines are stuck being different shades of green. As our Black Omen platform passes through this tunnel, they go from yellow-green to blue-green, and finally...
We meet the big guy himself.
This is the heart of the time distortion. Images from all the time periods make an appearance.
Moving on, we encounter a tunnel that includes every important PC and NPC sprite in the game in front of the End of Time, along with that ominous game over message. You can't really see it, but there are also translucent overlays of the Apocalypse in 1999 AD as well.
The final area is the time travel tunnel. This should be a familiar sight to anyone who played past Lucca's Telepod in the game.
Unfortunately it has a few problems here. See those sparkles? I can't edit them out. If I do, the stage's lighting system will become broken.
Broken lighting is no fun. It causes part of the background to become opaque, obscuring everything behind it from view.
Character models stop getting lit, making them look much crappier. The Black Omen platform becomes impossible to see. And most obnoxious of all, Smash Balls refuse to spawn; you can still get Pity Final Smashes, but the balls themselves give off a little flash when they appear, and the game can't create that flash if there's no lighting on the stage.
On the upside, the Time Travel Tunnel winds up looking perfect. The sparklies disappear, making for a decent emulation of what it looks like in the game.
If enough people ask for it, I'll release a version of the stage with broken lighting. It might wind up being useful somehow. In the meantime, enjoy the version with the working lights.

Lucca & Gato
Our favorite mad scientist has turned her battle robot into a suit of power armor!
"MY NAME IS GATO
I HAVE METAL JOINTS"
"BEAT ME UP AND WIN
FIFTEEN SILVER POINTS"
"I HAVE LOST, YOU HAVE WON
HERE'S YOUR POINTS, NOW WASN'T THAT FUN?"
"Now I understand..."
"It lives on a planet for as long as possible, stealing away the most vital resources..."
"It combined the DNA it found here with its own, and gave birth to those creatures up on Death Peak. Eventually the young must migrate to other planets...to repeat the cycle..."
"All of our history...our art and science...all to meet the needs of that...beast..."
"Impossible..."
"You CAN'T expect to toy with an entire world and get away with it!"
Lucca's concept art is entirely asymmetrical and Zero Suit Samus is entirely mirrored, which presented something of a problem. She's missing a lot of her gear as a result, such as the saddlebags and her backpack. Her helmet got mirrored too, making it rather awkward. To compromise for this, I offer a helmetless version of Lucca in addition to her helmeted one.
Unfortunately there is no way to remove Zero Suit Samus's ponytail without creating a gigantic hole in the back of her head. Lucca Version 2.0 will probably have a short ponytail to make up for this.

Marle & Lavos Core
Wait, what?
Yeah, this pair doesn't make nearly as much sense as the last one. But since I had a Samus texture and a Zero Suit texture, I figured I might as well pair them up together.
"It's...humanoid..."
"Are you saying IT'S the reason we're all here?"
"This is Crono's and ours...Leene's and Doan's...everyone's...!"
"And I mean, EVERYONE's world!!"
Marle also has problems. Zero Suit Samus has some of the stupidest and most mind-bendingly insane texture stretching I've ever seen. Her chest area is especially obnoxious; I wanted to have Marle wear her pendant but in the end it looked too terrible to be feasible. I couldn't make her quiver have shoulder straps, either; it had to wrap around her neck, which just looks weird. All other asymmetrical parts of her design, such as her bags, had to go bye since ZSS is mirrored.
In the end, even the few things I did put on Marle's upper torso stretch in weird ways and look awkward. I'll try to fix this in Marle version 2.0.
RAWR.
Lavos Core seems to have attached one if its Bits to the end of its arm. I wonder why?
Whoa, I didn't know Lavoids could do that...
ACK! Run, Glenn, run!

Frog & Glenn
Speaking of Glenn...
Why make just the amphibious version when I can make the human version too?
"This be evil!"
"It...is too much to bear...we have been reared like animals...! Our lives hath been for naught..."
"My life retain'eth its meaning...!"
"We haveth our own will!!"
"MY NAME IS GLENN!"
"Cyrus, this be our finest battle..."
I threw the Guardia Dragon and the Hero's Medal all over these guys. The former was custom made by me in Adobe Illustrator and is based off of the shield sprites you see in 600 AD's Guardia Castle. The latter is on Frog's belt, Glenn's sash, and both of their sheathes.
Toon Link doesn't really have a cape to speak of, so I did the best I could. His shield is the result of an aborted attempt to turn adult Link into Glenn, before I realized Marth would work much better.
Both of their swords contain Masa and Mune's sprites. Frog even has Melchior's name etched into the Masamune.

Ayla
Whee, one of my favorite characters is now in Brawl!
"Me no run! Ayla no run away! Worse than losing!!"
"Ayla strong! Ayla and world good!"
"You outsider. Not part of planet's life!!"
Peach has a crapton of stuff that can be changed. The umbrella shows the Poyozo Dance, my favorite triple tech. The tennis racket is now made from stretched Reptite skin, and her frying pan is now Alya's ubiquitous club, as is the golf club (sorta...its textures are rather small and difficult to edit). All the jewels are now made of Dreamstone, and her crown is supposed to be made of white bone.
Yes, she's got her crazy scarf-tail thing. Unfortunately it's got a white outline, the result of an error in making the rest of Peach's dress transparent. It'll get fixed in Ayla 2.0.

The Zeal Trio
First up: Queen Zeal.
"Cretins...how dare you come after ME!"
"Schala! Turn up the Mammon Machine's power to full!"
"Mwa ha ha ha! Behold the power of Lavos!"
She's got a tapestry of some kind adorning the front of her dress depicting her concept art alongside a ton of Zeal-related sprites. Her dress also has a Zealian design, as does her body armor.
Next up: the Prophet.
"I've been waiting for you, Lavos."
"I swore long ago... that I'd destroy you! No matter what the price!"
"It is time to fulfill that vow. Feel my wrath, Lavos!!"
Yeah, it's Magus in disguise. For the most part the texture works, although there's some odd bulging around the legs and no real cape to speak of. Unfortunately Sheik doesn't use any kind of magic, so Magus will have to use his agility and muscular strength instead.
One major problem with the texture that seems impossible to fix is the codpiece. The front and back portions don't meet up in the middle, between his legs. This is because that part of the texture is also used on Sheik's inner thighs, so Magus gets a big fat brown stripe down the sides of his legs whenever I try connecting the codpiece together. I don't see a way around this beyond editing Sheik's model to fix the texture wrapping, so it'll just have to remain like this for now.
Now we come to Schala. First up, the classic version.
Only one picture, unfortunately. She has the worst problems of any texture in the group, since a lot of Zelda's jewelry and armor hates transparency with a passion. White pixels float in the air around her alongside black gemstones. It really doesn't look very good and I am quite averse to releasing the texture to the public like this.
Unfortunately, Schala's fans will eat me alive if she gets left behind again. So here's a compromise: Armored Schala.
What if Schala followed her mother and succumbed to Lavos? An unpleasant thought to be sure, but the result would probably look something like this.
"D...dark...force...wild energy...! Aughhh!"
"I'm sorry, everyone..."
Like her mom, she gets a tapestry with her concept art. The armor is more noticeably Zealian now, coming from the Zeal Palace and the Black Omen.

Chrono Symphonic was a group project by several members of the OCRemix boards. A man named Claado Shou spearheaded the project; he wrote a script for a nonexistent Chrono Trigger movie and asked several of OCRemix's best remixers to create a movie score based off of it. The result is a 2-CD set of orchestral epicness.
I've created a pack of seven BRSTMs from the discs. They include:
"Predetermination" (Chrono Trigger Theme)
"Denadoro Climb" (Wind Scene)
"Confronting the Mystic" (Battle With Magus)
"Manifest Destiny" (Corridors of Time)
"Schala and the Queen" (Schala's Theme, Battle With Magus, World Revolution)
"The Rising" (Undersea Palace)
"To Far Away Times" (take a guess)
NOTE! Chrono Symphonic is a film score and does not follow the same format that video game background music does. Many of its tracks are filled with very quiet parts where hypothetical character dialogue would be taking place on the big screen, and the music follows a linear progression that does not loop well at all. I had to do a bit of editing in Audacity to remove the parts that weren't well-suited for battle and ensure that every track loops without sounding weird. As a result, some of the tracks wind up having abrupt beginnings.

And that's all, folks! I'd like to give a huge thank-you to the Spriter's Resource (www.spriters-resource.com/) and the Chrono Compendium (www.chronocompendium.com), which contributed craptons of excellent sprite rips from the game and, in the latter's case, concept art. Without them the Time Warp stage would be a lot more boring and the character textures would be a lot less accurate.
