Well It isn't an exciting hack, but you said you wanted to see them... I tried making the extra bits on the sword transparent... but it didn't work. P.S. In case you are wondering this was rendered in 3DSmax

I edited the alpha layer to 0 for the sword bits, and although 3DSmax didn't like it much, I carried on anyway, but when I tried it in-game it just froze on the loading screen. However it is entirely possible that something else went wrong... I'll try again when I burn another disc - I am trying to be economical, as I don't have an unlimited supply.
