I think know the problem here, its not what your doing, nor what I'm saying/doing. Do you have PAL/JAP brawl? Or did you get your common3_en.pac from someone else? If so, you have a foreign common3.pac file, and yes they are very different to the NTSC version I'm using. The only way you can get them to work is by: Extracting your common3.pac and finding out what each of the .pac files are and rename my items accordingly. Then follow the guide like normal. If that doesn't fix it, get my common3.pac from Stack Smash and just try that. No, this is a US version Brawl (I think that is NTSC). I got the iso myself using the homebrew function, and the files in the common3 match your listing. I'd rather find out what is wrong so I can make items myself in the future than just get your common3.

That is very weird, earlier on you said that the items were in different locations in you common3. Try just matching them up, It should be all good then.

When you go into SSBBinsert the file is named "whatever.pac" -i 027.pac and then when you test, its unchanged? Well I'm stumped at this moment. Give me your item and ill try put it into a common3.pac and ill see if its your SSBBinsert or your ASH or if your somehow doing something wrong.

Well I'm stumped at this moment. Give me your item and ill try put it into a common3.pac and ill see if its your SSBBinsert or your ASH or if your somehow doing something wrong. Well, the Baseball bat remains unchanged (If we're using that example). What DOES change, however, is some item earlier on the list, say the Hammer. The Hammer would now look exactly like the edited Baseball Bat, except have the effect of the Hammer (This was pretty weird when throwing your red shell texture was freezing opponents...). I'd give you an item, but you already have one I tried; the red shell. The freezie item looked like the red shell when I tried it, though. That definitely means it isn't my ASH. Besides, the only item I've tried of my own isn't mipmapped properly, so it's green at a distance and blue up close (I dunno how to fix it...). Best thing I can think of is to send me an items folder with all the required files other than the edited pac file, and see if I can get it to work with your red shell. If it doesn't work, I have no idea what is going on.

Since I got these working by attempting to insert them higher, I have a question: Where on the list is the Bob-omb? I don't see it...

Whenever I try using ASH on one of these .pac files, it does the first three .bress files, but then it doesn't do any more, ASH works with all Fit .pac's though...
