SSBBinsert stuff. I fixed it again, I added the 003.pac part, for some reason re testing the guide didn't work at that part.

The update to the guide was what I was already doing. It didn't work. I got a common3modded file out of it (That's a sure sign the last step worked), I renamed to common3, put in the system folder of my SD card, started up brawl... no change.

The thing is, what did I do wrong? I put the 023.pac and 003.pac and common3.pac files in the items folder along with the ntcompress, SSBBinsert, cgwin.dll, lz77ex, and SSBBExtract. I put in the first command, SSBBinsert.exe 003.pac -i 023.pac, after navigating to the items folder in cmd. Cmd itself took a second, then skipped a line and waited for the next command. I then put in the next command, SSBBinsert.exe common3.pac -i 003.pac. Same effect. So then I imputed the last command, ntcompress -l -o common3modded.pac -A4 common3.pac. I got a file out of it, so this must have worked right somehow. But testing it in-game, no change happened. I reloaded brawl to test (I think the common files load before the game, I'm not sure).
Anything I did wrong?

Anything I did wrong? hmmm, it seems like you did it fine. What is the pac file you are using?

hmmm, it seems like you did it fine. What is the pac file you are using? Your Red Shell, which is 023.pac, right? I also tried my Vanish Cap Box with 032.pac, neither worked.
