VILE did you test the instructions because, cause you have to insert the _new.pac (Make sure it has the original 3 digits in front) into 003.pac and then into common3.pac
Roymaster4, It might be because I forgot to make sure it handled pacs with compressed content (most stuff in a pac in padded to 32 bytes, compressed stuff isn't but the start of the next file is still padded). V0.2 will be up quickly.

Is the effects guide coming soon? I've been trying to figure them out for a while and even edited the ef files...but nothing happened....so hopefully you figured it out. Iggly had even told me that he found them in one of the common files...but I haven't had time to go through them... I have been trying to figure this out too, all i can do is edit them, i have no idea where to put it after that -.-

New error: 'SSBBinsert.exe: Can't insert _new.pac in position 2293524.'
Happened when I tried both _new.pac into 003, and into common3.

You need to rename _new.pac to have the original 3 digits in front, it's very picky about the name of the files it inserts. The next version will have a better error message for this case.

Testing proves unsuccessful. I tried the Red Shell, and its still Green. (I know its 023.pac, so that's not it)
Its renamed to common3.pac, right? EDIT: Any reason why it wouldn't work? I restarted the game multiple times from gecko os....

Iggly had even told me that he found them in one of the common files...but I haven't had time to go through them... Yes i have gotten effects to work, i will wirte a guide eventually. Ok, put that in, I didn't get anything out of it. No common3modded.pac, no nothing. Which means something happened in step 9... Any idea what 'SSBBinsert.exe: End of file 'common3.pac' reached unexpectedly.' means? Only thing i can think of is a bad common3.pac VILE did you test the instructions because, cause you have to insert the _new.pac (Make sure it has the original 3 digits in front) into 003.pac and then into common3.pac Roymaster4, It might be because I forgot to make sure it handled pacs with compressed content (most stuff in a pac in padded to 32 bytes, compressed stuff isn't but the start of the next file is still padded). V0.2 will be up quickly. It worked fine when i put the _new.pac into the common3.pac... If no one else can get it working i will just add in the extra part.
