Dammit, every time there's a server issue, people freak out. SS isn't going anywhere; Nintendo doesn't care about texture hacking; the server doesn't care about copyright issues because it's in fsking Finland or something. There's no reason for SS to disappear.It's a bandwidth thing. Like I said on ESH, hosting the EE patch on the server itself is one of the most moronic things I've ever heard of. It's like 35 MB, and it ate bandwidth like mad. Lmfao. That explains it all. Morons... |

Just FYI: SS won't be functional until May 1st. So far, that hasn't been completely confirmed; it's speculated to BE May 1st, just because that's when the server "resets" itself bandwidth-wise. I don't know why it did it after 1 day the last time, unless it was coincidentally the end of the month. I can't remember. Regardless, we SHOULD have had a mirror when hosting the ]EE[ release (it was pretty obvious), but some of us were so bent on thinking no one would really care that we didn't bother. That's what I assume, anyway. |

Did you find that on ESH's website? If you did, that was probably an imposter. Notice how he linked to google and not unleaded mugen.
