Why would you be apposed to model hacking ever? If we could do the full extent of model hacking (bones, animations etc) we could create new characters and even create a new brawl. Model hacking is the best. PS: adding a crown to jigglypuff would be unbelievably easy. I just thought that if we could fully edit models it would kinda take some of the fun out of texture hacking. I enjoy improvising with my textures. I thought it might be, considering she's one of the only characters with extra models. What about for characters like Yoshi or Charizard? We'll still have stages until someone makes stamodeleditor lol. Some days I don't even think we should even call it brawl anymore but rather the greatest fan game ever made....

@research guy, I had the same thoughts, but after a while I realized that alot of my fav characters from other games and stuff couldn't be done well with texture hacks, look at sephilink, that just doesnt do sephiroth justice. So yeah model hacking will prolly kill texture hackin, but we had a good long run with it, It was only a matter of time after all

Once people begin making model hacks, I know I'll continue making texture hacks of THEIR models (given that's possible). Having Mewcario (Mewtwo texture hack from Lucario) fight against Lutwo (Lucario texture hack out of Mewtwo) would be hilarious. XD

That and not everyone can make new models up to standard, or might not think all the extra trouble to be worth it.
Still would kill to be able give Snake an eyepatch though.

^ From what I hear, not yet. We're currently waiting for someone named Pharrox to release a BRRES compiler program of sorts... Once THAT is out, Vile and others will be able to stick edited models back into the game after conversions are set... and we'll see from there.

Lol, the only thing I'm interested in is adding a Master Chief model in there. Anyways, I can't wait, I've done a little model editing in the past and I'm excited. Is there any way I can help? from what I understand you guys need to convert an editable format (.dae) into SSBB model format (.brres or whatever). Do they just use a custom compression algorithm on a normal model and slap on the .brres extension? How did you guys manage to convert it to .dae, and why can't you reverse it? Might there be something in the revolution SDK that can help? If there's any way I could help, I'm here. I'm dying to know what you guys have figured out so far if you're willing to share. Edit: I've been reading PDFs in special places. I guess if there's anything to gather about the models, it's in the .iso... If you guys have already done all this and are holding out on me...
