What problems are you having with the Ness model (the weird thing on his head is normal)? Heh, I remember seeing Ness's hair like that when I accidentally replaced a Lucas costume with a Ness texture hack. I believe the weird spikes are Ness's hair from his "INTRO" model, where he teleports on the stage, his face blackened.

But don't get your hopes down though, we can still get Lucarios model and edit it to look very very similar to the model of Mewtwo. You will be able to take Mewtwo's trophy model and place it in Lucario's ingame model if Pharrox finishes his program. So we won't have to edit Lucario's model, it will be easier than that What do you mean not edit Lucario's model? With this you have to have the same object and bone data (names etc.). The only way I can see your theory happening is by getting Mewtwo's trophy model, splitting up the pieces of the model as the same parts as Lucario, probably will have to edit his UV's, putting it in line with Lucario's bones and skin it accordingly. It's not worth it to get an outside model and put it in, it would be way easier to just edit Lucario's model to look exactly like Mewtwo. I would probably get his trophy model and do that eventually, but as a first hack, no way.

hmmm this is probly gonna annihlate texture hacking completely, Except that you will still have to change the textures to fit the new omdel, but you can do so much more that teams like stacksmash and kitty corp will prolly hav to move on to this, will it be any more difficult to do this than texture hacking? and do you guys think you can make an ASH for models???

Opening Mewtwo's model and 'pasting' it on Lucario's one and then edit it to show the T-pose should work.

Vile sure is awesome now a days. I can't help you at all though. I know nothing about this. I barely understand how textures work.

You know, originally I was kinda opposed to model editing, seeing as it would kinda take the fun out of texture hacking (not to mention create unspeakable atrocities if used by some people), but now I have to wonder about it. How hard would it be to add static objects to certain characters, like a crown on Jigglypuff? Does adding or replacing parts of the model affect hitboxes, or do those need to be coded as well?

Why would you be apposed to model hacking ever? If we could do the full extent of model hacking (bones, animations etc) we could create new characters and even create a new brawl. Model hacking is the best. PS: adding a crown to jigglypuff would be unbelievably easy.

I enjoy improvising with my textures. I thought it might be, considering she's one of the only characters with extra models. What about for characters like Yoshi or Charizard?
