Ok guys after a while of pondering on how to do final smash textures i have found out how to do it. GUIDE:You will need:A Hex editor Ash (with ntcompress and TexConv) SSBextract (can be found with ash) Final Smash.pac of the characters smash attack you want to edit Basic knowledge of ASH Ok here's how its done:1. Get your final smash .pac file and drag it into SSBextract. You should get a folder with a 000.pac inside (i recommend you rename it from 000 to "character"FS). 2. Get your "character"FS file and run it through ASH. Edit your tgas however you want (i back these tgas up as i might want to fix them up later). 3. Compile with ASH like normal (rename the _new.pac file to something eg: Fox_FS_black). 4. Open your renamed _new.pac and your ORIGINAL final smash file in your hex editor. 5. On your original final smash file, the first letters should be ARC, find the ARC (should be a few lines down) and copy everything BEFORE it. 6. Now go to your edited final smash texture and paste everything you copied from the original, at the start of the file. 7. File > Save As the edited final smash under FitCharacterFinal.pac. 8. Enjoy the spoils of the new FINAL SMASH I will be looking into effects next, so if i can find out how to do that i will probably write a little tut on that next. I might upload pics as well Post if your having some trouble with this (if its confusing tell me and i will fix it up) VILE~

~...As a side note, I suppose, ifever you come across files that end in "tex#00_00 - 03.tga", generally those kind of files CANNOT be edited/recolored. Figured I'd throw that one out there. A majority of the time, however, characters will have colored effects in their files. But if not... don't be too surprised if you tried to make Zelda's golden beam from her Light Arrow green and it didn't turn out.

From what I've seen, the only Final Smashes that can be edited successfully were Giga Bowser and Wario Man.

Skipping alot of the steps and just opening Fit*Character*Final.pac with ASH works for me.
You can also edit, Peach's,Pit's and Pokemon trainer's

You need to use the WHOLE guide to do FS textures like Ike's.

I kno that it was mentioned above but I havnt seen a guide for it yet and I was wondering if you were still planning on doing that I was fiddling around with effects a few days ago and the good news is i got them to compile properly, but i wasn't exactly sure how to load them on sd loader. As soon as i finish my rhyme texture and post it, i will get back to figuring out effects (if anyone knows how to modify G&W color through hexing, i will need to know if i want to use the full extent of effects) EDIT: i got effects working, i will write up a guide really soon.
