Man, I don't know what i supposed to do with the server down, if we lose the server, we need to search another one with no copyright laws and free.....
and if that happend, we need to upload again ALL OUR TEXTURES again, and since megaupload has an storage limit...and with 200+ textures.................
i am really scary, hope that PZT appears soon....

What the Hell, indeed ... What worries me is the disparition of all the other teams blogs. This is certainly going to be a really heavy blow to the rising community if it becomes permanent or lasts more than a few weeks ... I'm sure it's going to be fixed, but that pretty much shows us how much unifying is dangerous when meddling with risky material. I sure hope there will still exist places like KC that keep a good glimmer of hope, even if the whole United Empire of Hacking crumbled. All Hail the Kitties !!!

Prolly just over-exertion of resources. --- Taking on every person who could ever possibly want to hack brawl was quite an undertaking.
Now... with the following, in now way am I saying that StackSmash isn't necessary but... There are many alternatives out there storage wise. Reach your limit on mega upload? Spread it out across multiple accounts; use another storage provider, there are many... just a few annoyances download wise (wait times, download limits, etc, etc). Lost your blog? Use another, use a forum, hell...
StackSmash provided a great way to both diversify the amount of textures and hackers out there while unifying them under a single resource. But... it seems by not only being a source of reference but a host as well... it became overexerted (or so I guess). If this doesn't shape up / if StackSmash ends up having to stop their hosting services... it might be for the best. Low end texture hacking groups may disband, others may merge and acquire other hosting. Sure, it's a bit discouraging... but I have no doubt that the best material (at least that which has already been released) will continue to exist and thrive through some means.

I'm saying... if you want to continue, you simply need to set up shop elsewhere. If you do nothing now, you are placing all your hopes in that nothing will ever happen to StackSmash. And again I say, nothing against StackSmash. The brawl hosting service is admirable but everyone needs a backup plan when things go awry.

I didn't mean to incite any panic lol. To me the message seemed to mean more that they used a massive amount of resources for their host. Too much.
The only thing that even slightly annoys me actually is I didn't get a chance to download Millhouse first.

I"m really annoyed because I just joined a team that was hosted by it.
