Well, according to GIMP, the saved tga has F808F8 coloring.

What ? Theres no way....checks it in photoshop* omg I have 2 different magentas set somehow , I mustve switched between them -_-. Sorry for the newbyness  |

No prob. It's the entire reason why I swapped to my new method of making TGAs.
1) Resize picture / add normal transparency where needed
2) Index to 71 colors
3) Add new color to pallet (FF00FF)
4) Fill transparency with new color
5) Save
Removes any chance of there being a screw up!
