How do I extract the pacs from assist trophies?

Hi,
I wanted to take on the nintendog texture, but when I tried to extract it with step_1.bat from ASH v22, it did not do anything. There was only the current_mod.ash file, which said "ef.nintendogs.pac"(that's the name of the pac, obviously) when I opened it with notepad.
Could someone tell me what I did wrong, or what I have to do with assist trophies?

you are editing the EFFECT of the nintendo dog not the texture.
Is your brawl iso completely downloaded?
if not then download the texture of a modified nintendo dog (such as demon nintendo dog) then you can edit the texture. we dont have the guide yet for editing effect textures
