Ok, so when I'm making some of my own custom textures and I run them through step2_create I get some problems.
Characters like Yoshi, Sonic, Fox and Diddy have certain Palette textures that ask this question.
***Adding Palette Textures***
02Yoshi_Egg
<Maximum colors allowed: 16> <if your image has a bigger palette, it will corrupt the texture>
Then it asks me if I want to include it. If I say y it ignores it, if I say no it skips it.
So I've tried both yes and no and whenever I load these characters onto Brawl they've done 2 different things. 1 they've freezed apon loading(Yoshi and Diddy) and 2 they've loaded their Original Characters(Sonic and Fox). I set it to go over Green Sonic and I got Normal Sonic.
I'm doing everything else right because I've gotten downloaded textures to work and I've made my own custom texture for Ness who didn't have the corrupt question like the other 4 did.
What should I do about this?

in the actual file like the yoshi egg file u have to save it as an indexed file image > mode > indexed and then change it to however many colors ASH says can be allowed and also be sure to change it to Local (Perceptual). save it and then create it. Basicly anything with a pallete has to be indexed

Ok I went into photoshp. Mode > Indexed Color
I switched the Palette to Local and it made it 16 which was correct.
trying again in the step2_create it still asked me the same question.
Tho this time when I said y it asked me this.
MAGNETA found: Make Transparent? If I said yes or no it give me this.
UNEXPECTED ERROR: This texture has erroneous colors!
EDIT: I think I got it working now I switched every other option to NONE.
Another Question: I got a problem with the palette 08FitSonicEyeBase
It said that numLOD is greater than 0 image 0 minimum dimension.
