File is either unreadable or damaged. SOLVE!

Yes, so every time I download a texture, it gives me, "File is either damaged or unreadable format." PLEASE HELP SO I CAN ACTUALLY DOWNLOAD TEXTURES.

Once I open it with Winrar, it shows that .pac file, and a another .rar file that is supposed to have the .pcs file inside, but it always says the error message.

Any specific file / set of files?

Anyway... I use 7zip --- free --- handles lots of compression file types
www.7-zip.org/

If it doesn't work through that, it might just be a bad file.

It's ALL the files. And thanks. I'll see if 7-zip works for me ;-)

Nope. 7-zip doesn't do the trick either .. It does this for EVERY file too. I can't open these files with win-zip, win-rar, or 7-zip, because they all say it is unreadable or damaged. HELP ME OUT HERE!

Wait... are you trying to open up the pac / pcs files with winrar?

Those are the texture files themselves. The only way to further open those is through ASH (PAC files that is, PCS is a further compressed PAC file --- requiring LZ77.exe to decompress before ASH)

I remember getting this a few days ago trying to download Heavily Armored Porkey. By the third download, it stopped giving me this message. It's most likely a bad download.
