Regarding character portraits, it's interesting to note that if you use the File Replacement v1.3 code, it appears that the portraits only appear on the results screen.
Of course, for the File Replacement v1.1 code, the portraits appear on the character select screen AND the results screen.
Ironically, v1.3 is newer than v1.1. Eh? 1.3 and 1.1 versions are referring to two separate codes which must be run together in order to get this to work. |

Guys, can you explain this Character Portraits thing, please? I'm using PAL codes, and I can't make portraits appear on the select screen. They only show up on the victory screen. I'd really appreciate help.  |

k i need help. how come me n my friend cant see eachothers textures? we both got gecko n we both onlnie. he is deity TL n im shadow but we cant see eachother. somebody said we need da .pac files but u already kno that half da characters dont even have pac files so where do i get dem n wat do we do so we can see dem online?

First off... da -> the dem -> them n -> and wat -> wut Now... you can make PAC files out of PCS files by using LZ77 (drag and drop onto the exe) --- You will get a .out file... just rename this to .pac and you're set. www.patriotmods.com/brawlhacks/utilities/lz77ex.rar |

lol thanx. so we just put the pac file on da same character at da same time and we are good? for example..even tho he is goin to be roy(ike) he should put sonics pac file in the sonic folder so wen i come out as shadow(sonic) he can see me? o and thanx for the internet slang translation haha XD

I need heip, i have the PAL version and i am havig a problem.
Stage textures load just fine for me but character textures don't work no matter what i try, i have followed the instructions very carefully but it just don't load them.
