Dynamic SD loader doesn't cover stages yet. What do you mean it doesn't? It works on v1.3 for me. Oh crap there was an update? craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap.

Do you have another link for the PAL codes? I don't have a link off hand... but the GCT file and the codes themselves can be located on the first page.

It makes no sense to apologize for caps in a forum post... which you could just as easily edit the caps out...
And... I'm not really sure what you are asking --- but...
After putting the code into the entry box, click "Store modifications" (note, this does NOT save the file)

Regarding character portraits, it's interesting to note that if you use the File Replacement v1.3 code, it appears that the portraits only appear on the results screen.
Of course, for the File Replacement v1.1 code, the portraits appear on the character select screen AND the results screen.
Ironically, v1.3 is newer than v1.1.
