After i change charizards, ivysours and squirtles texture my game freezes when i highlight pokemon trainer.
Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Did you use WiiScrubber 1.21? (NOT 1.31, NOT 1.2, NOT 1.3, etc.)
Did you place their PCS files in the correct places, AND their PAC files in the correct locations? (This goes for all of them; you'd have to replace all the corresponding PAC/PCS files for Trainer, Zenigame, Fushi...Ivysaur, and Lizardon... So if you were replacing his normal costume, you'd replace all the 00.pac and 00.pcs files with your custom ones respectively.)

Yeah im using 1.21. The first time i changed them i used the metroid textures for all 4 of them and only used the 01 costume for all of them with both pcs and pac files, and still always froze.
Do you always have to change all 4 costumes or can you just change one?

Are you using ASH? This is very important to know. Maybe it's a bug and I can fix it.
If you are using ASH you can try to extract the PAC again, if it works then the PAC and PCS are correct and they should not freeze the game. If you are not using ASH it means that the PCS file is corrupt, try to create it again (fast way is to extract the PAC with ASH and do the step 2).
You don't have to modify the 4 characters of course. If you want to know which character is freezing the game, put one (Squirtle, for example), if it works then put the next one (Ivysaur) then do the same with Charizard and PT until it freezes.

I'm using lz77ex, i got the pcs files from stacksmash. Then, in order to know if the PCS is correct, rename the .pcs.out that lz77ex created to .pac and try to extract it with ASH. If ASH can't extract it then you must email the owners of that site and tell them that they don't work. If ASH can extract it then you are doing something wrong. Did you know that Squirtle is Zenigame, Charizard is Lizardon and Ivysaur Fushigisou? Try to replace only a Pokemon and tell if it works. Of course, you will have to do it in a clean ISO or it will still freeze. Did you know that .pac must be replaced with the .pcs.out that lz77ex creates? Your freezes are because your PCS is not correct or that you are replacing a different file in the PCS. |
