I ripped my own ssbb game but it seems i can't get this to work as easy as i thought it would be, either the game wasn't ripped properly or i cannot simply burn it. Imgburn stops me before even trying myself. After it asks "to burn it anyways" i get up an error when I'm using dvd-r and have to cancel the burning. This has happened on both the computers I've tried. Both giving this error: I have ripped this game twice just to be sure, and i have managed to burn a DVD+R (without changing booktype) imgburner stopped at 50% (half size as it should right?) said it failed and asked me to perform the closing track which i clicked yes on. The dvd+r cannot be used to play the game with however, if i had to change booktype to DVD-R which tab should i change with this dvd rom _NEC DVD_RW ND-3540A 1.01 (ATA). I've read something about DVD5 and DVD9 Images, I'm PAL just to make that clear, what is the difference between these? There is no reason for me to use my ripped burned game for anything else than multiplayer. Think I've handed enough information, but just ask me if you need anymore to help. Thanks anyways.

rip the iso from your DVD+R. then you can burn it onto a DVD-R.

You are meant to get that error...
I have a PAL wii, and have burnt the DL iso onto DVD+R's without changing any settings about 20 times and every single disc has worked.
So don't get all worked up about DVD-R's and burn it onto +R's if your first burn doesn't work it could be due to a bad rip (unlikely if wiiscrubber accepts it) or a bad burn (other than the 9GB issue) or it could be poor quality media, or even a bad install of the backup launcher/modchip.
You aren't really clear about the error that your DVD+R gives when trying to play the game...

Wiiscrubber accepts my first ripped iso, however not the secound rip(ripping the dvd+r burn). Am i suppost to rip the game as a dual layer game? I have this strange feeling that my rip is the cause, im using the usbgecko methode but its giving me a working iso for wiiscrubber.
The DVD+R i burned wont work with the backup launcher just giving me a error and cancels, the ripped version of that does not work in wiiscrubber either and with an hex editor the game is totally off.
If 3 computers wont work with img it cannot be the computers being the problem... the chances should be slim. Ill try the wifi rip methode and give you a responce.

It doesn't really matter, the smaller it is, the more trips you are going to have to make to and from the wii. The limiting factor is the size of your SD card... (assuming you are SD dumping if you are talking about split size)
To merge them together use cmd and once in the correct folder write:
copy /b Part1.iso + Part2.iso + Part3.iso SSBB.iso
or however many you have/whatever they are called.

Fixed problem, had to remove half of iso. Did it with burning a DVD+R and ripping that with Nero to a image.
