Well, when editing Mario I come accross a texture with some weird things (numbers xD) on Mario's cap, so I don't know If I have to edit them in a special way... help?

From my experience making TRON Mario, I don't believe those matter at all. So you should be fine disregarding that as transparency (or, leaving those numbers intact)
Although I am curious as to why those are there... Maybe Mario was the first texture done and the numbers are there as some sort of example? Dunno...

Probably. With mine I just left the numbers alone. (I have the original texture as a background layer, copy sections I want to edit as new layers, then edit)

If you look at Snake's face ('atama') it says 'def n.f.o layer' in red scrawly writing...
Presumably they had a bit of leftover texture and left some stuff on it... not sure.
