How do I open the common3_en.pac file and other files like it. I Keep getting the error "Assuming MSBIN" with ASH every time I try

I would suggest opening the common files manually, I don't know how exactly ASH works, but the common files have layers of encryption and pac's which ASH may not deal with correctly.

I ran the common.pac into that l7 converter thing ,XD . which then gave me a common.pac.out which i used a hex editor to make it a common.pac again which allowed me to open it through SSBextract, got far enough to get to a specific item but .brres files confuse me -_-.

.brres files are just like .pac's but split up a bit more. Just use SSBextract like you would with a .pac.

Hex edit them back in, just like you would a character texture.

damn, now i have to teach myself how to actually hex XD. I'm already working on like 2 projects, hope i get to it soon. Thanks for your help joey
