To be able to actually asist my team with textures, I need help. I lack both a hacking program and knowledge of texture hacking. I do have a hacking program, but it's custom made for me.
If somebody could point me out to the best program, I'd be greatful. Also, if you could teach me how to work with textures, that'd help.

I kind of made a basic guide to texture hacks for another guy so... kittycorp.proboards102.com/index.cgi?board=ontopicdiscussion&action=display&thread=202It lists everything but actually designing textures themselves. (Which... is personal preference) I suggest GIMP for working with images --- although... for some reason it doesn't properly read the TGA transparency properly. (But... it makes +2 textures a hell of a lot more simple to deal with...)

Okay, first of all, I can't read the PDF format. I used to be able to on my laptop... My old computer had do be dumped because Vista's hardware failed. So, could you please explain to me what's going on?
Here's a better question. What do I need exactly to use the textures? I don't have a modchip.

Whoo. This'll be interesting to tackle... All right, just to knock this out, a mod-chip is totally optional. You do NOT need it. Trust me, I have no mod-chip yet I can make texture hacks. What you will require: -Homebrew Channel -Wiigator Backup Loader GAMMA (v3.0) -- gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=114247-Brawl (preferably 4.7GB Brawl) -Texture hacking supplies (includes the infamous guide that mentions materials you will need) -And DVD-R discs, not DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW. Simply 4.7GB DVD-Rs. (Not to be confused with 700MB CD-R/Ws, of course.) Really, probably the "hardest" part will be installing HBC and Gator. After that, things are relatively easy to explain. But, until then.~ Ah, yes, what version of Wii do you have? 3.4, or below?
