ok, i downloaded the emerald textures and started to edit one, but, when i open up the file in photoshop...all the FitCharacter's pics look the same as the non emerald character form, do i edit them how i edit non emeralds? or is there a special pic that controls the whole shiny emerald effect? and if so where is it...i checked the FAQ and couldnt find anything on it...

There should be 1 extra image that controls it all.

Edge is the texture that gives the emerald color. If you copy, and paste an image onto it, say like my avatar, you'll have an emerald character with caramelldansen all over it. Edge 2 is a border. Do not make it all 1 color or else the texture will become completely solid. I don't know about Ref, never opened it.

Ref is used in the normal textured Marth and therefore irrelevant.

Edge 1 is the reflective surface picture (that is the picture that will be reflected). This texture can be made transparent by making black, or semi transparent making it dark gray.
Edge 2 works very similar to edge 1, but it is more of a light emphasis.
Ref is marths normal texture, its an abbreviation for "reflect" or "reflection". it works like edge 1 but on the shiny bits of marth (metal, buttons etc)
