Basically hacking trophies is a dead end as far as hacking goes...
They are useful because the trophies have decrypted models of all the characters which use the EXACT same textures as the actual characters themselves. Which means that the textures can be previewed before burning a DVD.
Unfortunately the actual character models are scrambled.*
*From what I can tell, any vertices that get animated seperately, usually start off in an odd position.
