I need help making Donkey kongs fur transparent. no matter what i do there are still traces of magenta that i want transparent. plz help

Index before adding magenta, otherwise it'll "blend" with the nearest selection.
1) Index -> "add color" (to the pallet, being magenta) -> fill with new magenta while still indexed
or (I think this might work as well, never tried it)
2) Index (with transparency somewhere still) -> revert to rgb (NOT UNDO) -> fill with magenta -> re-index

yeah i indexed after adding magenta... ill try indexing first see if it works

Another solution is to make the semi-transparent parts of the hair fully visible, and then fill the background with magenta (#ff00ff).
