pac file host issues "mega upload"

I made a custom texture for someone. Than three weeks later they finally got around to downloading it but the texture wasn't the one I had made but one that was released after me.

I had this as the file name DanteDMCfitmarth00.pac

I used Mega upload does anyone know how to avoid this or why it happened?

At this point --- yes mediafire is far better.
