shadow skip down past the second --- line for my response ------- Ok seriously milk. If you advertise one more time you'll be banned. --- I have nothing against linking to well made guides and nothing against fellow brawl hacking sites but... you linked to a half-assed response post in a forum you have to sign up for. Sure, you do answer the question but it is lacking in both substance and explanation. It's not only against the rules, it's downright rude. --- Anyway back on topic... first can you use the hackmii installer and install bootmii as boot2? If so, do that (note --- you'll need a gamecube controller or to use the power/reset buttons on the wii when using bootmii --- a wiimote will NOT work) you can then make a backup of your nand onto your SD card in case anything goes wrong (pretty much 100% brick protection). (Also... the following can be placed in the bootmii.ini in your bootmii folder on your SD card, after install, in order to make it autoboot after 5 seconds) # BootMii config file
# Video mode, possible settings: # NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE VIDEO=NTSC
# Autoboot, possible settings: # SYSMENU, HBC AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU
# Autoboot delay, in seconds: # Default is 5 BOOTDELAY=5 As for the actual downgrade... never done so myself --- in fact I'm actually running on 4.0 (updated via waninkoko's method) and have no issues. I usually refer to the gbatemp guides for stuff like this. I think this should help... gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=146735&hl=Davi92&st=0Now if you should ever want 4.0 with all the frills... and none of the cost... here is what I used to *upgrade* wehackwii.pbworks.com/News+-+System+Menu+v4

Dam, i hate it when ever you have almost everything done, some little error pops up and it cancels EVERYTHING. Stupid errors. why do they have to exist on trying to downgrade wiis.
