Hello I have been texture hacking for about 7 months now? now my problem is that my SD card died....it snapped in half and the mother board popped out XD so I taped it together and it worked amazingly, but it limited me adding cheats (it was also a FAT32 card) so I went and bought a brand new 4 gig one, I copied all the folders over to my new one (which is also a FAT32) and I booted the game, and the loading time massively increased, I went to play and I had no textures, and If I paused the game froze. So I said "wonderful" and I re-applied the file replacement code manually, and retried same issue. I don't know what else to do I didn't change any file names, or delete anything. and when I checked the SD properties it had plenty of space, the store clerk even told me it was wii compatible, and the wii reads it the gecko even says "CODES FOUND APPLYING" but they don't....PLEASE HELP!

IIRC, only 2gb or under cards work.

I'm not sure of this but...
It might be a 4GB SDHC card. While the wii itself is now compatible with such... Brawl (and really any old game) isn't. I'm not sure if this applies to codes as well...

I was going to say about the SDHC stuff, but i thought any card over 2gb would not work (i have read that everywhere).

For the most part, you'd be right. But... there is one case I can think of where people have been using a 4GB SD card (non-HC) and it worked just fine. (Well, required a little work --- basically had to pad the card with garbage data until it was only 2GB --- then remove garbage as new files were added)
