okay so i was doing some items.
i decided to edit:
crates
dragoon parts
dragoon targetting
smash ball.
I entered the crates and dragoon shooting like in viles guide just fine, note that i did them all at the same time rather than repeating.
But, when doing the dragoon parts and smashball, i got this error:
017.pac too large. blah allowed. blah needed. use the -g option to allow the file to grow.
So...what should i do?

It got screwed up somehow, before compressing the common3 file, it must be the exact same size as the original. If it is telling you to use the grow option that means that that file is too big.
