.pcs too small after I put it together (fixed, ty)

ORIGINAL POST:
Basically when I use step2_create the file size goes down from 800kb to 721kb (roughly)

I've reverted back to earlier saves, but the only way to keep the 800kb is to not touch the file, save it, and create it... but if I change anything it lowers the size.

If the size isn't around 800kb when I try to load the texture it freezes my game and I must hard restart it. I think this is because it's not saving anything for the part I'm working on, and doesn't know what to put in it's place.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions or had this problem before and was able to fix it that would be great


(Working on Zero Suit Samus' body texture, if that helps or matters)

WHAT I DID:
Just reverted to an earlier save and re-did the texture... Wasn't much to it. Still not 100% sure what I did, but this is the 2nd time it's happened and I fixed it the same way both times. I'll just be more careful from now on =P... thanks for the help offered though =)

Zero Suit Samus needs her PAC file as well as her PCS file. Don't forget that.

You need Zero Suit Samus' PAC and PCS files together for her to work properly. (Also applies to the other transformation characters, Bowser; Giga Bowser; Squirtle; Ivysaur; Charizard; Zelda; Sheik; Samus.)

It's A-OK if the _new.PCS file shrinks, when compared to the original.
It's NO good if the _new.PAC file shrinks, when compared to the original.

Well I just tried it in the system and when I pick the suit the game froze just like before and I had to hold the power button to turn it off.

It happened before and I fixed it by going to an earlier save and just re-doing what I did to get to this point... Not sure what else I can do. .pcs and .pac files are in the correct folder... I'll do some back-tracking and see if that helps. Thanks for the advice though. =)

Codes? Are you waiting until your brawl disk stops spinning before you go to the stage selection?

No, I couldn't wait for it to stop because the textures for characters load right after you pick your character (before you select your stage). Something I did to it corrupted the texture itself so it wouldn't save right... not exactly sure what I did, but to fix it I just reverted to an earlier save and did a bit of work to get back to where I was before.

All is well now, I'll just be sure to back up my work more often now.
