At what part are you having trouble?
I can say my biggest problems were...
#1) Not having - SSBBExtract - TPLx - TexConv* - NTCompress* in the same folder
#2) Forgetting the last \ in path.txt
#3) Using wiiscrubber 1.31 (1.21 works so much better... thanks to everyone who informed me) when creating the iso to test

ASH is a bit... weird, it doesn't sometimes and sometimes it works (it works most of the time, tho), but yeah, basically what picano said, make sure you have evrything on the right place, and for god's sake, DON'T use wiiscrubber 1.31 (lol, lol, Register xD)

This might help a little bit. (At least, to help figure out what the problem is)
Edit the Step1 bat in note pad, remove the any mention of "cls" (clear screen) and add in a "pause" for the last line --- this should allow you to read through any errors the program is outputting. --- Be sure to keep a copy of the bat on hand, just incase ya accidentally remove something vital.

If step 1 works, but step 2 doesn't change the line my @path = <READ>; to my @path = "C:\\Insert\\Your\\Path\\Right\\Here\\";
in create_tcs.pl
make sure you use double \
