problem with brres file

hi,
i have a 001.pac of fitlucariomotionetc.pac but when decompress with ash 001.pac, I have a 000.brres.
I open and edit the 000.brres but when I use ash for compress, the changes I made to the Brres file have disappeared (again normal) .
Into 000.brres I edit the .chr0 and .Vis0 files.
Can you help me please ?

what....

are you saying that when you open the .pac file in ASH and re compress it, it has no 001.pac? It should have 000.pac AND 001.pac.
