Has anyone figured out how to do this yet? I've been cutting intros from many of my favorite songs and looping them. I figured there was no real way of making intros work... I started to listen to the brawl streams again...
I happened upon U03, Emerald Hill Zone. I figured it had an intro so I gave it a try. I expected to hear a fade out then loop into the intro again at some point in the song. It never happened. So I know for a fact adding an intro is entirely possible. Does anyone know how?

Just set a starting loop point besides 0 so you can keep the intro.

you have to use an audio editor like goldwave or cool edit pro and view the song in sample mode. Make sure it's at 32000 khz.

The process is pretty easy.
1. Once you've got your loop points figured out, have the start marker (the beginning of the highlighted area) at the exact point you want your loop to start. Switching your zoom to 10 or even 1 second (under View) can make this much more precise. 2. Make sure you've pressed Stop so that the play line is gone. Press Ctrl+Q to drop a cue point at the start marker. 3a. If you're doing this manually, resample your song to 32khz and save it as a mono 16-bit wav. (Make sure that, if you're doing stereo, you save each channel individually by copying and pasting them into new files and saving them appropriately.) 3b. If you're using Androu's tool, press Ctrl+A and copy and paste your edited song into the original wav as usual. Goldwave automatically resamples it to 32khz as part of the pasting process. 4. Once you have your song as a 32khz wav, press Ctrl+J to make your start marker jump to the cue point marking the start of your loop. Press Shift+E to open the Set Marker dialog. You will see fields for Time-Based Position and Sample-Based Position. The number in Sample-Based Position, next to Start, is the number you want. Write it down in Notepad. 5. When you run DSPADPCM or continue with Androu's tool, enter this number as your starting loop point (instead of 0). The ending loop point should still be the end of the song.

Yep. That did it. Thanks guys. Once I get these songs working in stereo, I might just upload them. Again, thanks for the help.
