All I have in my root is the .elf file you provided in the first download, and aad1f_v108.zip, renamed as "privateold", because all I want is the HBC, not the dvdplayer thing.
I turn on my wii, go to channels, sd card, and put the card in, but nothing comes up.
Did I do something wrong, do I need to include the HackMii installer, or do I need to try a different version of the bannerbomb?
Thanks in advance, I just want to use textures. D: DAMN YOU WIICONNECT 24. DAAAAMN YOU.

So if I upgrade to 4.0 (so I can download Majora's Mask on VC), and get the HBC, will Gecko OS work (along with textures)?

Use the offline section of this guide. Note: This downgrades your IOS not your system menu.

The eye of the tiger....... Anyway, Bootmii's brick protection is unprecedented. Accidental screwups are almost 100% avoidable now that completely and utterly break your Wii.
You need to be an idiot on unprecedented levels or use very malicious software (also an idiot, use the ISO patch/ size checker to make sure its the right size, but it could be the right size possibly) to get a bricked Wii if you have the Bootmii part of it installed. Do the one that isnt an ISO patch and just change the two file names in Bootmii to [inactive] added in it

Speaking of which, BootMii doesn't let me dump my NAND to the SD. I"ll go check what the exact error is when i start up my Wii.

Its because it isn't formatted, it keeps your files, just choose to have it formatted.

Cool, I was able to get my friend's working again with this, but note that this will NOT work on wii systems with the serial number starting with LU64 or greater.
