We have to figure out how to change the colorations of the black and white files. For example, for Ness, the black and white files determine the brightness for the PSI moves, but don't actually determine color. Solving this may solve other hacking issues as well, such as Super Sonic.
Now, the first idea I have is the CLR0 files. Uneditable through ASH, but openable in hex editor. I can't try until this weekend, but perhaps a first step would be to see if there is anything in there to do with color.

is that honestly all that you need? if so, sweet. (and why didn't I start doing hexed textures before if that was all I needed!? )

Its CLR0 files controlling colour and the black and white are just the base.

AND, given that, what about PAC files that do not have CLR0 for all objects? (Lucario's aura, for example, doesn't appear to have CLR0s, nor does Sonic's pink overlay for his body/shoes.)

Actually, I don't think all of Lucario's Aura is in the FitLucario file. Making the black and white textures all black just removes an outer layer around the Aura Sphere. There is enough to make a noticable difference, however.

If we could find a way to well edit the CLO, or if someone could tell me how it'd be amazing.
