So far, no luck as far as properly looping sound files. I always get a split second repeat of the last sample played before the song loops, but I'm still working it.

I used that link that Register supplied above, when it converts it I don't get a looped song and the file when finished, becomes 1kb. o.0 (I was trying to put in Primal Dialga Remix on there)

Where on the brawl iso is the music name skin that you can edit out the music name with that appears in the top left corner in the start of a match?

OK, I've checked in Goldwave, and I have this file saved as .wav, 16-bit PCM signed mono. It's 32000hz, too. That's what it's supposed to be, from what I understand. However, when I try to convert to .dsp, I get the error: "Cannot open C:\MusicHacks\BrinkofDeath.wav for reading!"
What's causing that? Here's the complete command line:
C:\MusicHacks\Tools>DSPADPCM -e C:\MusicHacks\BrinkofDeath.wav C:\MusicHacks\BrinkofDeath.dsp -cC:\MusicHacks\BrinkofDeath.txt

I got about the same problem aswell when i used the first download on this page, have you tried Androu1's fix? Download this and try yourself stacksmash.cultnet.net/androu1/?p=45Do you have activeperl installed on your computer? If not you should check into that.

Hey you guys trying to find out how loops work, have you looked up the format? I kind of found this, don't know if it'll help and I couldn't gather any useful numbers from it but maybe I'm missing something. xD vgmstream.wiki.sourceforge.net/GameCube+DSPI found it from here: vgmstream.wiki.sourceforge.net/Standard+DSP?f=print"UNCONFIRMED: loop offsets are counted as ADPCM nibbles, see how this relates to a sample count in the main DSP article." Good luck in figuring it out guys.

Ok, so I can't find the dspadpcm.pdf. I'm having trouble converting the .wav file. When I put the command in, a black window with text pops up and disappears quickly, and nothing happens. Could someone post here the exact command they put in for it? Here's what I used. C:\Music_hax\tools\dspadpcm -e C:\Music_hax\New_music\DarkSamus.wav C:\Music_Hax\New_music\DarkSamus.dsp -cC:\Music_hax\New_music\DarkSamus.txt
