Phew! Hard to learn, easy to master XD
Got items working. Thanks alot for the Guide, VILE. I have some interesting stuff on the way. Some things are done, but I want to release the common3 PAC once I get pretty much every item changed. Too bad I won't be able to edit the Smashball until who knows when. I have the prefect Idea. I can edit the Smashballs' PNGs (converted from TPL), but I'm stuck on that part. I haven't hexed for textures. Perhaps I'll ask someone with hexing experience to pull this off [some volunteers?]. But other items are going great.
EDIT 1: I just noticed the items that VILE made compatible with ASH. Perhaps I'll have this done soon. Expect a neat surprise if it works!
EDIT 2: I was able to edit the Smashball normally (thanks to VILE), but when I try inserting it through SSBBinsert during step 9, the CMD says:
"Too Large. 16896 allowed, 51104 needed. Use the -g option to allow the file to grow."
After using the -g option (i assumed instead of -i, I should place -g), it says:
"Extraneous arguments. Ignoring"
And so Smashy isn't inserted =( . Any ideas what could be done, VILE?

The smash ball is ar 46, because of empty files that SSBBinsert accounts for but SSBExtract skips you need to put it in 49. and the -g options is use like this SSBBinsert -g -i <insert file> -o <out file> <source file> Though I haven't heard any stories of it working.

I dragged common3.pac onto SSBExtract. Nothing shows up. SSBExtract is crap, use SSBBarc (the newest version of SSBBinsert).

It worked! And no need for that -g option thing. Now I'll just add a few touch ups and I'll post the modified Smashy in the NB thread. Thanks again!
