Is there more of an extent to your project other than "make stages look like sonic levels." ?
Dont get me wrong, I like most of them a lot, just curious.

Wow, that was unexpected.... probably because of the rising chemical water, right? Still hard to see, though. I never got to see how it turned out, My computer crashed while I was making the lava into the purple chemicals. Course I probably shouldn't of been doing this on my laptop @jolti: I like your suggestions, I needed more ideas for my project. First of all, thanks, man. ^^ It's the minimum I can do, at least a very little help for you. Second... Norfair? o.o Well, that was weird... xD Good choice if you ask me because the rising lava as Roymaster said, or the mechanical platforms, but as far as I know, chemical liquid didn't hurt you directly, or came from the sides, haha. xDDD Let's think that there are side glasses that break because the huge amount of liquid... (?). xDDD The principal reason that I think that other stage will do it better for being Chemical Plant Zone is, actually, that I prefer Norfair for being Volcano Valley ( Volcano Valley - Act 3, simply perfect IMHO). The other option is Lava Reef, but I think that isn't a good choice after all because it's basically a mine with rocks and very few lava. Please think about it, man.  In fact, probably you don't have to do practically nothing. xDD Lava is OK, steel platforms, it's a volcano after all... |

Well, let me think through every Sonic stage from 1 through K....
Green Hill - Obviously done.
Marble - Uh.... Temple? Best thing I can think of.
Spring Yard - Ok, I have no idea at all for this one. Maybe Rainbow Cruise?
Labyrinth - Uh..... Brinstar (Melee)? Or maybe Spear Pillar.
Star Light - Bridge of Eldin?
Scrap Brain - Shadow Moses?
Emerald Hill - Best as Green Hill
Chemical Plant - Well, you're doing it as Norfair...
Aquatic Ruin - Jungle Japes (Melee)?
Casino Night Zone - Probably Port Town, maybe 75m....
Hill Top - Been done.
Mystic Cave - Been done.
Oil Ocean - Big Blue?
Metropolis - New Pork?
Sky Chase/Winged Fortress - Since Halberd is taken by Flying Battery, perhaps Corneria, with Tornado-colored Arwings?
Death Egg - Frigate Orpheon?
Angel Island - Been done (By someone else).
Hydrocity - Delfino or Port Town?
Marble Garden - Yoshi's Island (Melee)? Maybe Green Greens...
Carnival Night - Probably best as Port Town or New Pork, but there's water so maybe Hanenbow or Delfino?
Ice Cap - Been done.
Launch Base - Should probably be the hanger in the Halberd.
Mushroom Hill - Been done.
Flying Battery - Halberd.
Sandopolis - Mushroomy 1-1?
Lava Reef - I'd say Norfair or Brinstar (Melee), but maybe Castle Siege, because of the second act being completely different?
Hidden Palace - Uh... Spear Pillar?
Sky Sanctuary - Been done.

I'm picking up Hidden Palace Next using Spear Pillar.
I'll just make the pokemon there into badniks or somthing.

Btw, are we talking about Sonic 2's Hidden Palace, or S&K's? Both of them are good, so this doesn't matter actually. xD
What about Norfair, what did you decided finally? And for Chemical Plant?

Well, techincally, I don't think Hidden Palace had any Badniks... maybe trying to make them look like Chaos Emeralds might work better with the Master Emerald as the platform they stand on, iunno....

Lava reef would be hard to do because, Most Sonic level tiles are easy to recreate, but I have a hard time with boulders, which make up all of the tiles in the original level. Tile refers to the repeating pattern of the stage (like Green hill's Brown checkerboard style) I'll face it when there is no other stage to do. |

Ahm, I see. o.o Well, Lava Reef is very hard and the result could be not very good. Also, if you don't want to do Volcano Valley, then I'll make it myself, hehe.
Btw, repeating myself for editing my earlier post (too late xD) to ask you if you plan to do Hidden Palace as its seen in Sonic 2 or in Sonic & Knuckles. I think that it's better the S&K one, but Sonic 2's will do it too.

Sonic 2's was cut, I won't do cut stages. This will be from Sonic The hedgehog 3 & Knuckles. Also I made a name for this ambition of mine. heheh....  |
